Error:
You are using other hardware that conflicts with the hardware you are trying to install.
Cause:
There is a conflict between the hardware you are trying to install and an existing hardware device.
Solution:
Double-click 'Display' in 'Control Panel' and click 'Change Display Type...' in the 'Settings' dialog box to install a new video driver.
NOTE: It is recommended that Windows 95-compatible display drivers be used to derive the full benefits of Windows 95 features. Please contact the driver manufacturer for the latest display drivers.
1) Click the 'Start' button to display the 'Start' menu.
2) Select 'Settings' and select 'Control Panel'. (The 'Control Panel' window appears.)

3) Double-click the 'Display' icon. (The 'Display Properties' dialog box appears.)

4) Click the 'Settings' tab. (The 'Settings' tabbed page appears.)
5) Click 'Change Display Type...'. (The 'Change Display Type' dialog box appears.)
6) Click 'Change...' in the 'Adapter Type' section. (The 'Select Device' dialog box appears.)
7) Do one of the following:
a) Select a compatible driver from the list:
1] Click 'Show Compatible Devices'.
2] Select a device from the 'Models' list box.
b) Install a manufacturer-supplied display driver:
1] Click 'Have Disk...'. (The 'Install From Disk' dialog box appears.)
2] Do one of the following:
a] Type the path of the manufacturer's driver in the 'Copy manufacturer's files from' drop-down list box.
b] Click 'Browse...'. (The 'Open' dialog box appears.)
1} Select the desired driver file.
2} Click 'OK'.
3] Click 'OK'.
c) Install a Windows 3.1 display driver:
NOTE: This is not recommended because many display features of Windows 95 are not supported by Windows 3.1 drivers.
1] Click 'Have Disk...'. (The 'Install From Disk' dialog box appears.)
2] Do one of the following:
a] Type the path of the Windows 3.1 setup disk.
b] Click 'Browse...'.
1} Select the desired driver.
2} Click 'OK'.
3] Click 'OK'.
8) Click 'Close'
9) Click 'Apply'. (A 'Systems Setting Change' dialog box appears prompting whether or not to restart the computer. The computer must be restarted for settings to take effect.)
10) Click 'Yes' to enable settings immediately or 'No' to enable changes the next time the computer is started.
